Kelly Osbourne has three words for Zendaya and Giuliana Rancic:
Job. Well. Done.
The British star responded in anger earlier this week after Rancic made an offensive remark in regard to Zendaya’s Academy Awards hairsyle.
Referring tot he 18-year old’s dreadlocks, Rancic said Zendya probably smells like weed.
The critique set off an online firestorm, with Zendaya calling Giuliana out on Instagram and Rancic first apologizing on Twitter… and then even more seriously on camera.
Prior to the second mea culpa, Osbourne – who is friends with Zendaya – and threatened to quit E!’s Fashion Police if the situation was not made “right."
A day after Rancic admitted to crossing a line, Zendaya accepted her apology in another thoughtful Instagram message that quoted Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and read in part:
"Giuliana, I appreciate your apology and I’m glad it was a learning experience for you and for the network. I hope that others negatively affected by her words can also find it in their hearts to accept her apology as well."
Last night, meanwhile, Osbourne wrote on Twitter that she’s satisfied by the outcome, praising both stars for how they handled it.
“It takes a strong women [sic] to apologize & makes a forgiving women [sic] even stronger!" Kelly wrote, adding: “#ThisTooShallPass.”
