You may want to sit down for this one: It turns out, some reality shows are scripted.
We know, it’s shocking stuff. Even more appalling – Kim Kardashian and kompany are apparently not above using pre-planned storylines to make their many E! network series more interesting.
Of course, without the scripted segments, Keeping Up With the Kardashians would be nothing more than Kris Jenner counting money while her daughters endure another round of laser hair removal treatments, but still, every time we receive new confirmation that KUWTK is really just a long-running sitcom, we lose a little more respect for the First Family of Reality TV.
TMZ is reporting today that they’ve obtained an outline of scenes from season 10 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and it seems that fans have some epic throwdowns to look forward to.
One big fight involves Kim, Kris, Kanye…and cookware?
Yes, it seems the new season features a plotline in which Kim and Kanye finally move into their new home and leave casa de Kris behind for good.
Of course, Kim takes some souvenirs on her way out, including all of Kris’ kitchen utensils.
According to the script, this leads to Kris suffering a rage-fueled breakdown outside of Kim and Kanye’s house – shattering a window with a rock, and screaming, "I gave you life and you stole my cookware?!"
Ridiculous stuff, but hey – we guess when you’ve been on the air for a solid decade, you’ve gotta pull out all the stops.
