Thanks to his incredible interception in the closing seconds, Malcolm Brown played hero at the end of Super Bowl XLIX last night.
But while sports fans are all abuzz over Brown’s great play (and over Seattle’s terrible play call), television fans are buzzing this morning over a trailer that aired for NBC.
For Heroes Reborn!!!
The series will serve as a reboot of Heroes, which flamed out after an outstanding first season, but which left enough of an impression for NBC to run it back this spring.
As teased above, Heroes Reborn will bring Jack Coleman back at H.R.G., whilc also featuring Zachary Levi in his first series regular role since Chuck.
“I think you will see several of our old cast popping into episodes," NBC President Robert Greenblatt said last month at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.
Little else is known about Heroes Reboot, except that it will be comprised of 13 episodes and it will feature brand new characters and stories as well.
Are you excited?!?
Heroes Reborn is will premiere sometime in 2015 on NBC. Prior to that debut, though, fans will be able to tune into Heroes Reborn: Digital Series on Hulu and all of NBC’s digital platforms.
