It may be cold in the Great White North, but it certainly won’t be Breezy!
Chris Brown has been denied entry to Canada and forced to cancel scheduled shows in Montreal and Canada. Brown broke the news yesterday in a tweet addressed to his Canuck fans:
"Good people of the Canadian government won’t allow me entry," Brown tweeted. "I’ll be back this summer to see all my Canadian fans!"
So why might the people of Canada want someone like Chris to remain south of their border? Oh, so very many reasons:
For one thing, it’s a miracle that the singer is able to tour at all. Brown’s probation was revoked in January after a series of violent incidents at his concerts.
But Chris Brown isn’t banned from Canada due to the tiny little problem of people getting shot at Chris Brown concerts.
No, our neighbors to the North want to keep their distance from Breezy simply because he has a rap sheet a mile long, and the Canadian government reserves the right to deny anyone admittance on the basis of their criminal record.
Remember when Chris went to jail last year for violating his probation? We know – he has so many scrapes with the law that you can’t keep them all straight.
But Canada never forgets. It’s like an elephant. A big, snowy elephant that wants nothing to do with Chris Brown.
