Bruce Jenner’s former wife and stepdaughters are distancing themselves from him, a new report says, and it’s playing out on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
While family members has publicly supported the Bruce Jenner sex change, and wishes him the best, there is definitely a widening divide between them.
There’s apparently a scene in the new season of Keeping Up where the Kardashian women discuss how Bruce has become such an infrequent visitor.
"Bruce and the boys are almost completely out of the picture," one says.
Of Bruce and sons Brandon and Brody Jenner, they say, "Maybe it’s time to admit they’re barely even enough of a family to go on vacation [with us]."
At one point Kim Kardashian says even more bluntly, "Things are only going to get more difficult and complicated," referring to the Bruce Jenner sex change.
Scott Disick also goes off on Bruce, saying when they rode dune buggies in Pismo Beach, Bruce "got on his high horse on how to be the world’s best dad."
Scott says he got really annoyed and said to Kourtney Kardashian, "I wonder what Brody would have to say about that," referring to Bruce’s own shortcomings.
Bruce was largely absent while Brody Jenner grew up – raised by his mom, Linda Thompson – as father and son discussed at length on Keeping Up as well.
The patriarch, of course, is transitioning into a woman as we speak.
That’s understandably going to be quite a complex topic, and a contentious one, no matter how supportive Kim, Khloe, Kourt and company try to be.
The fact that Bruce is planning his own docu-series and worrying that his daughters are leaking details to the Internet is further driving a wedge between them.
There’s no love lost between his family and the Kardashians, either, it sounds like. Especially not ex-wife Kris Jenner, who his family believes destroyed him.
Needless to say, the premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians – and Bruce’s as-yet-untitled sex change show, should be very interesting later this year.
