After a year of nothing but bad news, things are finally starting to look up for Teresa Giudice.

Yesterday, her lawyer revealed that Teresa is fighting to be released from prison early, and today, Radar Online reported that her release date has, indeed, been rescheduled.

The site claims that the website for Danbury Correctional Institution listed Teresa’s release date today. It’s currently scheduled for February 6, 2016 – a full two months earlier than expected.

The news is something of a mixed bag for Teresa, as it means she won’t have to serve the entirety of her 15-month sentence, but she also won’t be out in time for the 2015 holiday season, as she had initially hoped.

Even so, we’re sure the knowledge that she’ll be spending even slightly less time in the prison that inspired Orange is the New Black is cause for celebration for Giudice and her family.

Sources inside the penitentiary say Teresa is earning 12 cents an hour performing menial tasks, and her wages likely won’t be raised much during her sentence.

Quite a change of pace from the lavish life she was living on the outside.

Of course, even once she’s sprung, Teresa will still have a hard road ahead of her. Once she’s released, she’ll likely be turned over to a halfway house for an as-yet undetermined period of time.

After that, Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, sill begin his 41-month sentence behind bars.

As always, you can head over to TV Fanatic and watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online to see how it all went wrong for the Giudices.
