Before she can go, there is the small matter of Richard Spencer, a.k.a. Stanley, who they believe must be punished for playing both sides as he’s done.
In an attempt to flee, he ends up surrounded by the Freaks in the rain, and becomes their victim in what was a gruesome but perhaps fitting end.
As far as Ethel’s death, they conclude that it wasn’t a suicide.
Meanwhile, Elsa assigns Maggie to be Jimmy’s caregiver, as she is determined to win his trust and prove her loyalty now that his father has passed.
Can her old friend help restore and rebuild the old Jimmy?
Elsewhere, Chester angers Marjorie by putting her away during a tryst with the Tattler sisters, and as a result, the doll decides the twins have got to go.
Dandy Mott shares with the girls some information he’s learned about Chester, after which Bette and Dot tell Chester they no longer wish to be his assistant.
Maggie volunteers to take their place in this role, at which point Bette and Dot decide to warn Elsa that the monsters are soon coming for her, as well.
