With Teresa Giudice set to report to prison early next month, Bravo executives are reportedly mulling the show’s future, and may shelve it until she gets out.

While initial plans were to rush the show back into production before her departure, new inside information indicates that filming has since been delayed.

The delay is indefinite, no less, with no set plans to resume shooting.

“Bravo is very, very nervous to do the show without Teresa,” a show insider dishes. “They fear that without her, the show will not be as big of a success.”

That most likely means zero show for the next year, and then some.

The network isn’t pulling the plug altogether, but is exploring shelving the season until at least 2016, when Teresa gets out of prison,” the source said.

“By having her fresh out of prison, there would be a clear storyline.”

That’s for sure. Also, according to the Bravo insider, execs feel “it would also pull on fans’ heartstrings to see the changed Teresa back in the limelight.”

Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to jail time pleading guilty to fraud. She’ll serve 15 months starting in January, and Joe will do 41 once she gets out.

As for rumors that Teresa was already filming footage before she goes to prison? “These reports are not true,” says another source close to Teresa.

“There are many people who are trying to hurt Teresa by claiming things that don’t really have a strong basis in truth,” the source said, adding that:

“Believe it or not, Teresa really does not have an interest in being in the spotlight at the current moment. If you notice, Teresa is not currently doing any media.”

“She could be milking this, but she’s staying relatively quiet.”

There’s no argument there, but what’s less clear is this question: Would you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online or on TV without Teresa?
