At least two people were shot at Rosemary Anderson High School in Portland, Oregon, on Friday, according to reports. The extent of their injuries is not known.
The suspect, or suspects, have since left the area. Police are investigating.
Rosemary Anderson H.S. is an alternative high school in North Portland.
Early reports indicate that a 17-year-old was shot in back and a separate female student was shot in the chest, and that police are searching for the suspects.
Both Portland Community College’s Cascade campus and Jefferson H.S. are on lockdown after the shooting at the school, where 190 students attend.

Tamara King, who lives near the school with her husband and 4-year-old, was on the corner of the street when she heard five shots in rapid progression.
After hearing the shots, she saw at least four children scatter, diving under a car to avoid gunfire. She called 911 at 12:13 p.m. PST, she told Oregon Live.
A short time later she saw two kids being loaded into an ambulance.
