Georgia man Andrew Kurt Summers has been arrested after going on Facebook and threatening to shoot June Shannon and her daughter Pumpkin.
He claims he was joking. Local prosecutors clearly aren’t laughing.
Summers faces felony charges of making terroristic threats, even though he insists he was never serious at all, calling his rant “a joke, a dumb mistake.”
Oddly enough, he says he has no ill will toward the family, either.
According to Summers, he says he had merely been trolling Shannon on Facebook because of the whole situation with that child molester Mark McDaniel.
He won’t say what he specifically wrote, but it wasn’t nice.
Clearly, because the case is going to trial, law enforcement personnel are taking it seriously, and one can see why. Talking about shooting someone?
Generally not regarded as all that funny these days.
Summers was in proximity of the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo clan, too, residing outside Atlanta, just two hours from June Shannon and Sugar Bear.
He insists that he’s a law abiding citizen with a clean record and clearly doesn’t feel like he should go to prison for this, as the idea clearly spooks him.
But hey, as the old saying goes … don’t threaten to put a bullet in another human being on Facebook and generally you’ll be okay in the eyes of the law.
