You may have heard about it HERE and HERE and also HERE.

But Jennifer Aniston would like the set the record straight: She is not pregnant.

At 45 years old, she very likely will never be pregnant. And guess what? That’s okay!

“I don’t like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women – that you’ve failed yourself as a female because you haven’t procreated,” Aniston says in the latest issue of Allure.

“I don’t think it’s fair. You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering – dogs, friends, friends’ children.”

Ever since she split from Brad Pitt, of course, Aniston has been subject to numerous stories about her love life.

She’s now engaged to Justin Theroux (“We’re equals. He’s a nurturer. He is so fiercely loyal,” she says), but that’s not enough for many tabloids and critics.

They still wonder when Aniston will have a child and imply that something is wrong with her for not having done so.

“I have a lot of friends who decided not to have children, who can’t have children, or are trying but are having a difficult time,” she says. “There’s all sorts of reasons why children aren’t in people’s lives, and no one has the right to assume.”

Aniston adds that even discussing the issue gets her a “little tight in my throat” and then specifically address those who have dared to presume.

“This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is… It’s quite rude, insulting and ignorant.”

Really, what is there to add but this: you tell em, Jen!
