Oh, yes, Barden Bellas, we’ve been missing you while you’ve been gone.
But the ladies behind Pitch Perfect will return on May 15 for Pitch Perfect 2, with the first trailer for this wildly anticipated sequel hitting the Internet on Thursday morning.
It features Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow heading overseas to compete in the a capella world championship and attempting to become the first American team to ever take home this crown.

Elizabeth Banks will make her directorial debut for the movie, which will also bring on board Hailee Steinfeld.
According to the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, the following developments will take place on Pitch Perfect 2:
- David Cross will host a riff-off.
- Anna Camp will return as Aubrey, but she will no longer be a member of the Bellas.
- Skylar Astin, Ben Platt, and Adam Devine will all return as Jesse, Benj, and Bumper, respectively.
- Bumper and Fat Amy will have sex.
- Universal’s co-President of Production Peter Cramer says Pitch Perfect Season 3 could receive a green light: “We’re definitely starting to think about it but we don’t know specifically what it would be just yet.”
