Calvin Klein would like you to meet the new face and body of its Perfectly Fit campaign.

Her name is Myla Dalbesio and she told Elle in a recent interview that she’s a Size 10.

“I’m a bigger girl,” Dalbesio says. “I’m not the biggest girl on the market, but I’m definitely bigger than all the girls [Calvin Klein] has ever worked with, so that is really intimidating.”

It’s also really irritating to many Internet users because Elle has referred to Dalbesio as a “plus-size” model and… well… does she really looks like someone who should be classified in such a manner?

“Genuine WTF moment. This woman is described as ‘plus-size’ and ‘a bigger girl’. Aaaraagahagaagahahagahahag,” wrote one Twitter user in response to that classification, while another called out Elle for going there:

“@ELLEmagazine size 10 is NOT plus sized. It’s called healthy. The fashion industry (machine) is insane.”

To be fair, Calvin Klein itself has never referred to Myla Dalbesio as “plus-size.”

A spokeswoman told the New York Times in regard to its latest campaign and the woman behind it:

“The Perfectly Fit line was created to celebrate and cater to the needs of different women, and these images are intended to communicate that our new line is more inclusive and available in several silhouettes in an extensive range of sizes.”

Earlier this month, Victoria’s Secret came under fire for promoting its Perfect Body line of bras with a poster of thin, classically beautiful models.

Facing scrutiny, the company changed the tagline from “The Perfect Body” to “A Body for Every Body.”
