The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice remain “very unified” despite facing prison terms, their producer Andy Cohen opines.

The Watch What Happens Live host said that even the prospects of her getting locked up for 15 months and him for 41 haven’t broken them … yet.

“They seem very unified,” Cohen said. “I ask her on Thursday night if she blames Joe for her sentence and term, what she says is pretty interesting.”

Part two of Cohen’s two-part interview with the Giudices airs this evening on Bravo. In the first, we already saw plenty of highlight reel moments.

Joe admitted he used his wife in the fraud scheme that was their undoing, while Teresa said she didn’t understand her plea deal or what Joe was doing.

“Alright, whatever, I was taking out false loans,” Joe said. “They were handing me the paperwork. Whatever the forms were, she had better credit.”

“So, we used her,” he confesses, though he says, “she never even came to closings, she’s never been to closings. She might have signed one document.”

Teresa is still in denial about prison, but Cohen denies that she is planning to divorce her husband after all this, calling them a pretty cohesive unit.

Can that hold up to even more intense circumstances that are sure to follow – not to mention the long distance element created by prison? We’ll see.

Cohen also spoke about The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, which was taped earlier Monday, and sought to defend Teresa to an extent.

“The reunion show was really intense, there were a lot of rumors online that Teresa showed up four hours later, that’s not true,” Cohen told Extra.

“It was a typical reunion show which means it was really dramatic, emotional, intense,” he said. “Obviously there was an undercurrent” regarding Giudice.

After all, “something incredibly serious that’d just happened with Teresa,” which made it even more intense in a sense, “but we all got through it.”

Tonight, we should also see him address Joe Giudice’s alcohol problem, which was brought up during his sentencing last Thursday in New Jersey.

“We also talk about whether he has a problem with alcohol,” Cohen said, “and some other kind of allegations that they made in court about the show.”

As always, you can watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online to see how we got here, and be sure to tune in to WWHL tonight for this interview.
