We hate to break this to you, Detective Jim Gordon, but your day of reckoning is about to arrive.
At the conclusion of Gotham Season 1 Episode 6, Benjamin McKenzie’s dour police officer was about to be arrested for the murder of Oswald Cobblepot. Except, well… then in walked Oswald Cobblepot!
So much for that whole homicide thing.
But while Cobblepot’s stunning arrival (to everyone else) inside the Gotham Police Department headquarters may have saved Jim from a lifetime behind bars, it didn’t save him from a lifetime of looking over his shoulder.
As teased in the promo above for Gotham Season 1 Episode 7, the secret is now fully out: Gordon did not kill Cobblepot.
This has Fish Mooney concerned and Falcone sending his most lethal henchman to track Gordon down.
Look for an epic showdown to take place – and, even though we know Gordon makes it out alive, fans can also look for the conclusion of this arc to change him forever.
