Bethenny Frankel and her daughter’s clothing have reportedly been offered a king’s ransom for her return to The Real Housewives of New York City in 2015.
How much will she making? Not as much as NeNe Leakes’ salary for next season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but not too far off of that sum either …
Frankel has been offered “well over $1 million” by Bravo to return to The Real Housewives of New York City, which made her a star in her own right.
Leakes’ meanwhile, will reportedly earn $1.5 million next season, a staggering amount but one she was willing to command for the highly-rated RHOA.
RHONYC, in recent years, has trended in the wrong direction.
The former talk show host and Skinnygirl mogul, 43, is still in negotiations with the purportedly-desperate network, possibly for this AND a separate program.
Famously sparring with then-cast mate Kelly Bensimon, Frankel helped may the reality show a ratings juggernaut for three seasons before moving on.
After parting ways with the Housewives in 2010, Bethenny’s star continued to rise with Bravo spinoffs Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After.
Her marriage wasn’t as successful as those shows, of course.
Frankel and now-ex-husband Jason Hoppy have famously feuded over their daughter Bryn, whose jammies Bethenny was told by a judge to stop wearing.
Seriously, that happened.
Just the same, “producers need to shake up the cast because the ratings have just plummeted,” and have “told Bethenny she could return as a special guest star.”
This “wouldn’t require as much filming, which is appealing to her,” but at the same time, she’d be paid a huge sum for her services even in a reduced role.
Money talks, after all. So much so that she’s willing to relive something she once likened to “flashbacks from Vietnam.” She’s always had a way with words …
As always, you can catch up on past seasons when you watch The Real Housewives of NYC online, then hit the comments to discuss the return of Bethenny …
