Demi Lovato did not suffer a “Heart Attack” while performing on stage last Friday.
But the beloved singer did suffer a mishap that left her right arm in a sling.
“Welp. Looks like I won’t be playing guitar, piano OR drums tonight. San Antonio… Why did you have to go and make me fall so hard for you?!! #demiworldtour,” the former Disney star wrote on Facebook along with a photo of the injury.
It’s unclear what happened, but Lovato didn’t let the sling stop her from taking the stage in Oklahoma yesterday.
Fans there simply weren’t treated to Lovato’s impressive Thriller rendition, though they did get to hear Spencer West speak for awhile before Demi came out to sing and (sort of) dance.
West is a motivational speaker Lovato has installed at her opening act, breaking the tradition of having another artist go on ahead of her.
It’s just another way in which Demi stands out from her peers.
Lovato has 20 more tour dates remaining in her Demi Lovato World Tour prior to her final performance in Brooklyn on October 27.
But she appears to have already experienced her most unusual fan interaction while on road, Tweeting a few days ago:
“Just finished a meet and greet. Someone legitimately got nervous and farted on me. I guess there’s a first time for everything.. Right?”
We guess. But still: EWWWW!!!!!
