The newly-single Britney Spears is back in the studio, and sources say she’s looking to hit back at cheating ex David Lucado back where it hurts – on the charts.
“She’s recording new music because that’s what she does to channel her energy,” a source close to the pop star says, and there’s no doubt what’s fueling her.
“She’s going to write a song about David because she feels so burned!”
Britney is currently at New York Fashion Week, following an epic “Girls weekend in Vegas!” with her “original posse – Laura Lynne, Jansen & Cortney!”
At least Laura Lynne, Jansen & Cortney won’t try to nail any porn stars.
As far as any reconciliation with “Womanizer” David goes, the source says that is “done, done, done,” even with Lucado saying they were on a break.
Britney, after bouncing back from David cheating with Cali Lee, has been “giving insane performances” and holding up very well under the circumstances.
“All while working on her new music,” the source adds. “She is even asking her friends to ‘hook her up,’ but she finds it hard to find a quality straight guy.”
