If you’d ever planned on trusting Britney Spears with one of your secrets, then let this be a lesson to you.
It’s been rumored for a while now that Zoe Saldana is expecting twins, but the actress never confirmed it and she’s been intensely secretive throughout her pregnancy.
In fact, when it was first reported that Saldana is pregnant, the actress lashed out in an epic Twitter tirade in which she accused the media of invading her privacy.
So we imagine Zoe wasn’t too happy about having her former co-star Britney Spears confirm to the world that Zoe is expecting twins.
Britney was giving an interview to Entertainment Tonight when she was asked if she and Saldana would ever team up for a sequel to their 2002 film Crossroads.
It was an easy enough question, but Brit-Brit flubbed her response in epic fashion:
“Who knows? That’s a very good idea,” said Spears. “But she’s pregnant with twins right now, so I’m sure she’s got a huge future ahead of her.”
Whoops. Oh well. We’re sure Zoe will be quick to forgive. Besides, Britney just found out her boyfriend cheated on her with a porn star, she’s got a lot on her mind these days!
