Here we go again. Fresh off a selfless effort to raise awareness for homelessness at the VMAs, Miley is right back to feuding with other celebs.
Her latest victim is rising British pop star Ed Sheeran.
And while Miley’s attack on Ed may not be as extreme as the time she tore apart a Selena Gomez doll on stage, it still gained plenty of attention from eagle-eyed VMA viewers.
Many claim that if you pay close attention to the above GIF, you can see Miley call Sheeran an “a–hole” as he heads to the stage to accept his award for Best Male Video.
So why might there be bad blood between Miley and Ed? Well, it all goes back to some blunt comments Ed made about Miley’s twerk-tastic past in an interview last year:
“It’s a stripper’s move,” said Ed of Miley’s signature move. “If I had a daughter of mine, I wouldn’t want her twerking. When I first heard ‘Wrecking Ball,’ I thought it was a brilliant song, but the video distracts from it.”
Certainly not the harshest criticism, but we all know Miley’s not the type to take things lightly. It’s a good thing he’s got Taylor Swift in his songwriting corner in case this develops into an international pop feud.
