Queen of the Booty. Lord of the Arseocracy. Pippa Middleton’s rear end made her an international phenom in 2011, something she readily acknowledges.
With a sense of humor, no less.
Speaking at the Women in Advertising and Communications dinner in London Tuesday, Pippa Middleton joked about being famous for her perky posterior.
“As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and – you may say – its backside,” the 30-year-old author and event planner told 400 attendees.
Pippa said she was just “glad it fitted” at the time of the royal wedding event, but added with a knowing smile, “In retrospect, it fitted a little too well.”
When Kate Middleton’s little sister arrived at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, she turned heads in her curve-hugging, stunning bridesmaid dress.
Before long, she was on tabloid covers and featured in several internet memes. The butt of many jokes, you could say … as well as a sex symbol.
“It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom,” Pippa said.
“One day I might be able to make sense of this,” adds the younger Middleton, who competes in triathlons, plays tennis and is always fashionable.
She’s also engaged to Nico Jackson, reportedly … lucky guy if so. Question is:
