So much for that intense Jay-Z and Miley Cyrus feud.

Based on the lyrics to the new track “somewhereinamerica” – which appear to mock Miley and state that “only in America” could someone Twerk her way to fame – it certainly sounded as if the rapper didn’t have a lot of respect for the singer.

But Jay-Z engaged in a lengthy Twitter Q&A with fans yesterday and responded to a question about Cyrus with:

“Miley is a GOD.”

He also said Twerking should replace the Electric Slide at weddings.

Might Jay-Z’s responses be doused in sarcasm? Sure, but Miley didn’t take it that way.

“Call it what you want. But I don’t see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you b*tches out,” Cyrus Tweeted upon reading what Jay-Z wrote.

Jay-Z also shared that daughter Blue Ivy is a Giants fan; that he may collaborate again with Kanye West; and that his favorite Britney Spears song is “Toxic.”
