Jay-Z takes aim at a couple of contrasting targets on his new album.
First, he disses Scott Boras because the artist stole away one of the sports agent’s clients, New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano.
Now, based on leaked lyrics to the track “somewhereinamerica,” it’s pretty clear he’s making fun of Miley Cyrus.
Raps the superstar: “Cause somewhere in America/Miley Cyrus is still twerkin’ …”
“HA!/Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk/Twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk/Twerk, Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk/Twerk, yeah, uh-huh/Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley/Only in America.”
Not exactly the most original words we’ve ever heard, but the message is rather clear:
Only in this free country can someone shake her butt a bunch of times and receive praise for it.
