Chris Brown was not let off the hook by the judge in his probation case yesterday, but at least he looked good at the hearing he was ordered to attend.

Wearing a white jacket over a black shirt, tie and pants, the sharp-dressed star appeared with his attorney, where a judge set a hearing for July 15.

At that time, prosecutors will decide if they wish to proceed with probation-violation accusations against Chris, and if so, his lawyer will plead his case.

The L.A. County D.A.’s Office believes that Chris Brown falsified community service records pertaining to the 180 hours of labor he was required to do.

Specifically, officials believe he may not pulled strings to avoid putting in the work at a Virginia community center that he claims he did in court docs.

Per the terms of his sentence – you may recall that he assaulted Rihanna in 2009 and pleaded guilty to assault – Breezy is on probation until mid-2014.

This hearing was a continuance from April to allow the court to review new materials. Chris is also being investigated for his brawl with Frank Ocean.

A day in the life.
