Nate Berkus officially has designs on something far more important than any interior:

Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the television personality is engaged to his boyfriend of eight-plus months, as Berkus popped the life-altering question atop Machu Picchu in Peru yesterday.
Brent is Rachel Zoe’s former assistant and was first spotted out with Berkus in December, a couple months after Nate released “The Things That Matter.”
These two are the second famous same-sex couple to get engaged this week.
On Monday, Sara Gilbert announced her plans to marry Lisa Perry.
