Carnival games sure are frustrating.

But I bet you’ve never been as frustrated as Henry Gribhom, who lost his life savings of $2,600 on a single game.

Gribhom was at a game called Tubs of Fun at a Manchester, New Hampshire carnival, with his eye on winning an XBox Kinect.

All he had to do was toss some balls in a tub, but when the balls kept popping out, he became frustrated and went home to fetch his life savings.

“You just get caught up in the whole ‘I’ve got to win my money back,'” he said.

For the record, a full XBox console plus Kinect combo pack retails at Best Buy for $299.99.

The carnival operators are now investigating the game to make sure no fraud had taken place.

Gribhom, who only received a giant stuffed “Rasta” banana for his efforts, ended up getting $600 back after he returned to the game the next morning to complain.

“For once in my life I happened to become that sucker,” Gribbohm said. “It was foolish for putting up my life savings.”

Yes. Yes it was.
