This is nice and refreshing.
Following a Kevin Hart arrest early Sunday morning for drunk driving – the comedian nearly crashed into a gas tanker along the 101 before police pulled him over – the celebrity has made not taken to Twitter to offer up any convoluted excuse for his behavior.
He has simply acknowledged his major mistake and apologized.

“Drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter,” Hart wrote. “People have lost lives because of stupid s–t. This is a wake-up call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn’t. Everything happens for a reason.”
Hart failed a field sobriety test around 4:30 a.m. and was taken into custody before being freed on a $5,000 bond.
While his actions were deplorable and dangerous to both himself and others, isn’t it a welcome sight for a star to simply own up and move on?
