After giving birth to her first child in the near future, Holly Madison plans on eating healthy.
By cooking up a tomato soup recipe? Not exactly.
“This might sound gross, but I’m totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth,” Madison blogged yesterday.

Madison – who is expecting with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella – said she’s heard such a move “helps women recover faster,” and she isn’t totally wrong.
This seemingly gross meal – in which the placenta is cleaned, cooked and processed – supposedly helps one nourish one’s body and also avoid postpartum depression.
January Jones tried it after welcoming son Xander into the world in September 2011.
But we’re not sure if that’s a great case study. Has anyone ever seen Jones smile?!?
