Former Bill Clinton adviser and pollster turned political commentator Dick Morris is out of a job at Fox News, which cut ties to the 64-year-old Tuesday.
Network spokeswoman Dana Klinghoffer said that Fox wasn’t renewing its contract with Morris, whose 2012 election predictions were part of his undoing.
President Barack Obama’s margin of victory surprised many people, but Morris was adamant throughout the campaign that Mitt Romney would win. Big.
Not just eke it out, mind you, but throttle Obama in the general election. Yeah. Morris has made noticeably fewer appearances since the election.
Morris was also criticized in the past for accepting paid advertisements on his website from candidates that he discussed on the air at Fox.
