The 2012 American Music Awards brought together the very best in music … or at least the biggest names on teenagers’ playlists. In any case, it was awesome!
EVERYONE was there, and the winners and performers included fan favorites from across the pop music spectrum. So who was Sunday’s brightest standout?
Not surprisingly, America proved it still has a bad case of Bieber Fever.
The teen dominated the AMAs, winning Artist of the Year and two other honors. Amid the ongoing Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez drama, his mom was his date.
“I wanted to thank you for always believing in me,” he told Pattie Mallette, adding that it’s “hard growing up with everyone watching me” and asked that people continue to.
