Chris Brown and Nicole Scherzinger are both shooting down reports that they were seen making out at a club. Both stars say they were merely talking closely. Hmm.
The R&B singer and the X Factor UK judge were definitely spotted getting close at Hollywood hot spot Supperclub, but their respective camps insist no spit was swapped.
Scherzinger’s rep said in a statement:
“There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story regarding Nicole and Chris Brown.”
“The photos that have surfaced are old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club. I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing. This is a non-story.”
Calling it ridiculous is a bit of a stretch, as the photos of them together certainly appear to show them kissing. Maybe they weren’t, but the rumor isn’t totally unfounded.
Still, “No story here,” Brown’s rep concurs. “They were not kissing. They are friends, have been for years and they were talking at a club with loud music playing.”
Kissing? Whispering in Nicole’s ear? We may never know. Chris and Rihanna kissed at the VMAs, though. There’s conclusive photo and video of that.
Regardless, he and Scherzinger have been in long-term on-and-off relationships, Chris with Karrueche Tran and Scherzinger with Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.
Chris has also been linked to Rihanna relentlessly over the past year, with the latter calling him the love of her life on Oprah’s Next Chapter this summer.
