Andy Williams, a long-time singer and television host, lost his battle with bladder cancer last night. He was 84 years old.

The artist – known for such hits as "Moon River" and the host of The Andy Williams Show from 1962-1971 – passed away at his residence in Branson, Missouri.

 

A multiple-time Platinum-selling musician, Williams is survived by his wife Debbie and his three children, Robert, Noelle, and Christian.

Williams also hosted the Grammy Awards from 1971-1977.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked fans to donate to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network.
