The National Geographic Channel will air a documentary on the September 11, 2011 terrorist attacks with George W. Bush speaking in intimate detail about the days and weeks following the world changing event, the network says.
The special, set for September 11, will mark a rare appearance by president #43.
A release quotes him as saying during the interview:

“One of my concerns, like the concerns of other husbands and wives, was, ‘Was my spouse okay? Was Laura okay?’ My second concern was ‘Were our girls okay?’”
The chat was filmed two days after the death of Osama bin Laden.
“I didn’t feel any great sense of happiness or jubilation. I felt a sense of closure. And I felt a sense of gratitude that justice had been done,” he says.
