Fresh off winning an NBA title, Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson was arrested Tuesday night for public intoxication in Irving, Texas.
According to reports, law enforcement officials received a call about “some drunk guy” wandering around an apartment comlpex last night.
Lo and behold, they found Stevenson … who said he was lost.
Stevenson does not live in the apartment complex, and proceeded to fail a field sobriety test. He was arrested for public intoxication.
Officers “felt he was a danger to himself and others” and booked him, adding another classic to THG’s gallery of celebrity mug shots.
Stevenson posted $475 bail this morning and was released.
DeShawn is best known for shooting a red-hot 13-23 from downtown in the Finals, relentlessly trash talking LeBron James (including on a t-shirt asking how his Dirk tastes) and having Abe Lincoln tattooed on his neck.
