We have an update on wounded Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, and it’s nothing but good news:
The Arizona politician, who was one of several victims of a January shooting spree, is recovering at TIRR Memorial Hermann rehabilitation hospital in Houston and has recently regained the ability to speak.
“It’s very good news,” spokesman C.J. Karamargin tells CNN, adding that Giffords asked for a piece of toast this week.
Why that facility?
“The reason for choosing this rehab facility is because of their track record,” Karamargin said. “They are doing a fabulous job and working with her language and speech exercise and the physical therapy part of it.”
