Those fat Jessica Simpson pictures are so last week.

Before Chris Brown threatened to kill Rihanna, the ballooning country star was all the celebrity gossip world talked about. Rest assured, fans, The Hollywood Gossip hasn’t neglected this critical, wildly overhyped story.

Jessica Simpson made her first live TV appearance since her much-scrutinized weight gain, performing her song “Pray Out Loud” on CBS’ The Early Show Wednesday.

Simpson – who taped her spot in Nashville, Tenn., where she announced nominations for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards – didn’t directly address what has become a firestorm of criticism over her new curvy body…

However, she was happy after anchor Maggie Rodriguez mentioned all the support the singer has received from fans and called her absolutely beautiful.

“Honestly, I am right where I’m supposed to be. I am so happy. Right now I’m on tour with Rascal Flatts, having a blast. We’re at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. So far everybody’s been warm and welcoming. Lots of hugs, I like that … Texas style.”

The 28-year-old alleged singer added: “Everything’s really great. It’s all about keeping the faith. That’s why I pray out loud.”
