Mitch Winehouse knows all about hospital trips after collapses.
But while he is normally supporting his daughter, Amy Winehouse, under such circumstances, this time it’s his own health that is failing.
He collapsed last week as the pressure of looking after his wayward daughter finally took its toll, the UK’s Sun reports. Mitch has been suffering from stress-related problems and visited a doctor on Thursday for tests.
He was told to take time out from his daughter to look after himslef. The cabbie is due to jet to Spain today for a rest. A pal revealed:
“[Mitch Winehouse] isn’t well. He has been taking a lot on and dedicating himself to trying to improve Amy’s health. But his own has suffered as a result. He has been having stress-related panic attacks and collapsed at home last week.”
Amy Winehouse reacted to the news the only way she knows how – by lighting up a smoke despite her own dad’s prediction that she will die slowly.
