At least Vanessa Hudgens has a gorgeous man to go home to every night.
But even Zac Efron might have trouble distracting his High School Musical co-star from the lawsuit brought on by her former attorney; it focuses on over $150,000 in fees she allegedly owes him.
Superior Court Judge Tricia Ann Bigelow said a jury should decide the case, the Associated Press and People reports.
Vanessa Hudgens is facing a lawsuit… along with a legion of fans!
The lawyer, Brian Schall, filed a breach-of-contract suit against Hudgens in September. He claims the actress agreed to pay him 5 percent of her earnings in October 2005, in exchange for his legal work. She earned more than $5 million with his help, Schall alleges in the suit.
Hudgens disavowed the agreement on October 9. Her current attorney argued California law provides that a contract with a minor can be voided before the person turns 18 or “within a reasonable time afterward.”
