Look out, Beyonce, you may have a challenger to music – and world – dominance. And he sleeps next to you every night.
In a stunning turn of events, Jay Z has announced that “The Black Album” was actually NOT his last CD. He’s working on a new one, “Kingdom Come,” right now. It should hit stores this fall.
“It was the worst retirement in history,” Jay Z told Entertainment Weekly.

Appaarently, Mr. Z has never heard of Roger Clemens.
In 2004, the rap icon (real name: Shawn Carter) became president and CEO of Def Jam Recordings. He’s also the owner of the New Jersey Nets that same year and gets to give it to Knowles any time he wants.
Even though Jay swears he was serious about retirement for two years, he told the magazine that he began tinkering in the studio over the summer.
“Something, when you love it, is always tugging at you and itching, and I was putting it off and putting it off. I started fumbling around to see if it felt good,” he said.
Of course, for guys that sleep with Paris Hilton, that itching is something else entirely.
Expect dope collaborations on the forthcoming CD. Jay Z has already recruited some A-list producers: Timbaland, Kanye West and Dr. Dre. Even Coldplay frontman Chris Martin produced a track called “Beach Chair,” he said.
