Kate Gosselin’s controversial reality show Kate Plus 8 is returning to TV next month, but her bodyguard and rumored boyfriend Steve Neild will not be joining her.

At least in the final TLC footage that makes it to air January 13.

Her super-close relationship with her married bodyguard has made headlines and sparked speculation for years now, and she’s clearly aware of that fact.

Steve Neild and Kate Gosselin won’t be seen on camera together, however, as he’s been scrubbed from Kate Plus 8, despite being by her side throughout.

Witnesses to the show’s filming have photos to prove it.

“We noticed Kate and her eight kids walking towards the entrance,” eyewitness Jennifer Kelly says, having take a photo of her like all cool people.

“I had my camera in my hand and when I went to take a picture of Kate and the kids, Steve Neild came around the car and ended up in the picture!”

Steve’s wife, Gina Neild, reportedly threw down the gauntlet and demanded he cut off communication with Kate. As a result, he briefly left her detail.

A neighbor claims that Neild’s wife “told him his time with Kate as her bodyguard was making the family miserable and that he had to make a choice.”

Soon enough, however, he was Kate’s right hand man once more.

Neild has since been seen with the Gosselin family multiple times since these episodes wrapped filming as well, including at a One Direction concert.

They also shacked up during Celebrity Apprentice, according to Kenya Moore … who is maybe not the most reliable source. Still, he’s back in her life now.

Not a moment too soon for her, either, for the maligned mom.

“Kate’s really happy that Steve’s back,” a source said.

“Her life is sort of secluded when it comes to friends and people close to her, so she’s happy to have someone she knows and trusts around.”

Basically, no one likes her except Steve, who gets paid to.

There’s a lot of B.S. gossip out there, but we buy that.
